Prefer sa nu arunc orzul pe gaste. Si imi place ca in lucrarile mele umorul sa fie o strategie de comunicare: in cel mai bun caz el invita ambele genuri sa se apropie de o lucrare, fara nevoia de a se proteja, ci
de a rade impreuna. Hakeln / Crosetand prezinta trei generatii de femei care croseteaza impreuna. Lucreaza si barfesc cu o regularitate monotona. In timpul filmaarii in mod simultan cu aceasta activitate tipic feminina are loc o conversatie. Se speculeaza forma obiectului si intentionalitatea lucrarii.
Femeile raspund relaxat la intrebarile adresate de catre o voce barbateasca (partial intreband, partial ironica) din spatele camerei de filmat.
Femeile formeaza o intregime compacta, ceva le leaga. Blonds have more fun / Blondele se distreaza mai bine este un comentariu ironic despre faptul ca a avea par ni se pare un fapt de la sine inteles.

And I like humor as a strategy of communication in my works: in the best case it invites both genders to approach a work, without the need to protect them selves, but to laugh together.

Hakeln/Crocheting shows three generations of women, who are working on a common crochetwork. They are working and gossiping with monotonous regularity. Simultaneously with the monotonous/regular and typical female activity, a conversation about his work and the videowork is taking place. There is a speculation about the form of the object and the intention of the work. The women are off-handedly answering questions that are asked by a male voice (partly asking, partly ironic) off camera. The women create a compact entirety, something connects them.

Blonds have more fun is an ironic comment on the fact that we consider having hair as a matter of course.
